How to Keep the GOOD Vibes Alive

Hi everyone!

I'm Trista,  a 20-something writer,  wellness enthusiast, and peanut butter addict. Through my blog BloodSugar, Sweat & Tears I share my experience as a Type 1 diabetic and the life lessons I learns from managing a chronic illness everyday. I love hiking in my native Vermont, reading, and connecting with others in the wellness world.

So by now you’ve emptied your swag bag of all the tasty treats, you’ve posted all of your best pictures on Instagram, and you’ve finally put your new GOOD Fest tank top in the wash. The event is starting to seem like part of the past, but you don’t want to let the magic of it fade away! After looking forward to it for months and having it fulfill all of your expectations (and beyond!) it’s hard not to feel a little bummed out now that it’s over. It’s like crashing down from a big sugar high (lookin at you, Chilly Banana). Or maybe you’re unsure of how to put all that you learned into practice. Here are a few ideas for how to keep the GOOD vibes going as you proceed with your life.

1) STAY IN TOUCH!

Chances are, you met some amazing humans last weekend that you connected with on a soul level. Reach out to them, connect via social media, and maybe even plan to meet again IRL. Developing relationships with like-minded people is a guaranteed way to stay inspired.

2) FOCUS ON ONE THING AT A TIME.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by all the lessons you learned in one jam-packed day? How do you incorporate collagen peptides into your diet, switch all of your beauty products to be organic and non toxic, start journaling, eat more plants, commit to yoga, strengthen your core, AND begin a meditation practice?! Yikes! Remember, the intention behind it all was to help you feel GOOD- not like you have to be better. Pick one tidbit that resonated with you the most and focus on incorporating that into your life. Can you add more plants to one meal a day? Stretch a little bit before you go to sleep? Pause for a moment of gratitude in the morning? Maybe just acknowledge all the ways you are already practicing wellness and give yourself a pat on the back for that!

3) FOLLOW YOUR INSPIRATION.

Did one of the speakers’ messages deeply resonate with you? All of the guests have so much to offer, so be sure to check out their work online and see how you can learn more or get involved. Check out their book, podcast, blog, or future events because you only got a taste of what each of our speakers has to share!
